President Sue Grimsted welcomed members and guest Liz to our May Coronation-themed meeting.
It was also our Resolution meeting. We discussed the resolution that will be put forward at the NFWI Annual Meeting later this month: ‘Clean Rivers for People and Wildlife’. Our members voted for this to be taken forward on our behalf.
We also had a Coronation-themed competition and raffle, a trivia quiz, and finished the evening with a buffet.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 7, at the Trust Hall, North Road, Stoke Gifford at 7.30pm. This will be a craft evening led by Amy Grimsby, who will be showing us how to make a needlefelt card.
