Anti-social behaviour curbed

Levels of anti-social behaviour from youths at the Willowbrook Centre and other places in Bradley Stoke have now returned to “normal” levels, according to police.

Since June, residents have raised the alarm about groups of young people wearing balaclavas in public spaces and causing concerns. However, the police have now identified the ring leaders and taken the appropriate steps to address the matter.

PC Craig Doyle said: “There were three ring leaders who encouraged other youths to group together. Two members have now been identified, been given ASB injunctions which we can act upon if they breach them. They weren’t from the local area and incidents have now reduced considerably.”
