THE team at Little Stoke FC have welcomed a donation of £1,000 from housebuilders Redrow South West, which has been made as part of the company’s Community Fund initiative.
This recently launched scheme is intended to support a range of different local organisations who are in need of a boost, and groups were invited to bid for a share of the £10,000 overall fund.
Ashley Coles, first team manager at Little Stoke FC, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Redrow South West for this generous donation. The funds will make a huge difference to the club and mean we can continue to provide a welcoming and exciting space for all our members.”
Little Stoke FC, based at Little Stoke Playing Fields, was established more than 50 years ago, and consists of three adult teams who play in the county league, as well as a reserves team.
