The Stoke Gifford and Patchway Branch of the Royal British Legion held its Poppy Appeal launch on October 25 at Bristol Parkway Station.
The branch had a very successful poppy fortnight in the two weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday.
The money raised by the Poppy Appeal goes to the Royal British Legion’s Welfare Fund and is used to give help, guidance and support to current and former members of the armed services and their dependents.
