The newly merged Patchway, Stoke Gifford and District Branch of the Royal British Legion is delighted to announce that it has just had its final full approval from the RBL Head Office.
The local Poppy Appeal launch will be at Bristol Parkway Station on Friday 24 October at 2pm. This starts the Poppy fortnight which runs until Remembrance Sunday, 9 November.
Many venues around the area will have collecting tins and Poppies, and a number of venues will have stalls with Poppy Appeal volunteers. There will be the annual Remembrance parades, too.
In Stoke Gifford, the Remembrance service will be on 9 November at 10.30am on the Green in Stoke Gifford.
The Patchway Remembrance Parade will be on Sunday 16 November at 10.15am, meeting by the GP surgery located on Coniston Road.
