The best places to live in England and Wales in 2026 have been revealed and our very own town Stoke Gifford has made it into the top ten.
Almost 1,450 towns and villages were assessed so Stoke Gifford did extremely well to be named as the seventh most desirable place. Criteria that judges considered included the natural environment, wellbeing, heritage and culture, schools and jobs as well as value for money.
The survey was undertaken by Garringtons Property Finders who said that: “Stoke Gifford provides a village feel but an easy commute into Bristol.
“There’s all the amenities you could need, including local shops, supermarkets and a nearby retail park.”
