Teenage girls arrested following attack

Following a violent altercation in Bradley Stoke between teenagers at the end of March, a young girl who was the victim of the attack was left “too scared to go to school” according to her mother.

The girl – who has not been named due to her age – was left with a broken wrist, bruising and whiplash following the incident, which took place outside a local youth club and was filmed, later going viral online. One of the girl’s friends was also caught in the attack and endured damage to her teeth that required dental work.

Two weeks later, two teenage girls were arrested for the assault. A spokesperson for Avon & Somerset Police confirmed: “Two teenage girls have been arrested in recent days in connection with our ongoing enquiries into an assault on two other girls in Bradley Stoke on Tuesday 31 March. Both have been released on conditional bail and our enquiries continue.”
