Christmas cuteness alert!

The festive season in Bradley Stoke will be kicking off with some extra special visitors. The Brightwell Charity is excited to announce that they will be joined at this year’s Christmas market by the generous team from Puxton Park. The team from the Adventure Park in Weston-super-Mare will be bringing some of their gorgeous animals for visitors to the market to meet and greet.

Fundraising Manager Victoria Hocquard says: “We were so excited when our wonderful friends at Puxton Park offered to bring some of their adorable animals along to our Christmas market. The addition of this attraction will help make the event even more enjoyable for visitors, young and old.

“Everyone is welcome at the event which will also include local stall holders, refreshments, and games. We encourage all Bradley Stoke Voice readers to come along and kick off the festive season with us.

“In addition to the animals, we are fortunate to have an array of talented and creative people in our area, who will be showcasing a wide variety of quality gifts and crafts. It is a wonderful opportunity to start (or finish!) your Christmas shopping, as you are sure to find the perfect presents for family and friends.

“Visitors can look forward to a jolly and festive atmosphere at the Centre, with Christmas music, raffle, tombola, and barista coffee from the centre’s new café. There will be delicious home-made refreshments and festive treats on sale throughout the event to purchase. Christmas starts here! There is no need to book, just come along and enjoy, entry is free! The animal experience is priced at just £2 and every penny raised will go towards supporting the community of over 400 service users who rely on the therapy and services offered at the Brightwell.

“We are also very grateful to Taylors in Bradley Stoke, who have generously supported this event through sponsored advertising boards.”

The popular event runs from 11am until 2pm on Sunday 3 December at The Brightwell on Wheatfield Drive, BS32 9DB. There is still some availability for stalls. Any residents wishing to have a festive stall at this event should email community@thebrightwell.org.uk
