Shopmobility South Gloucestershire, based in the Yate Shopping Centre, is looking for volunteers to help operate and promote the service.
Shopmobility provides mobility scooter and wheelchair hire on a daily and longer term basis to help people who have limited mobility to retain their independence. The service helps users from all over South Gloucestershire and beyond.
There are opportunities to help the organisation to deliver the service, especially if it is able to expand its operations, and opportunities to deliver its promotion strategy to help the service reach and help more users.

Shopmobility has also now announced its arrangements for the Christmas and New Year period. Its opening hours are usually Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 9.30am to 4pm. However, the Shopmobility scheme will be closed over Christmas from 23 December until 1 January. It will reopen on Tuesday 2 January.
