Former MoD site to be rejuvenated

THE former Ministry of Defence offices in Stoke Gifford have been bought by Warwickshire’s Loxton Developments for an undisclosed amount.

The site at 1300 Parkway North in Stoke Gifford will be renamed York House and will offer three floors of high end office space.

Commercial real estate firm CBRE advised Loxton Development on the deal and CBRE’s Richard Kidd said that York House could be used as self-contained headquarters or let on a floor-by-floor basis.

He said: “With the flight to quality in commercial property here in Bristol set to extend and expand this year, this acquisition represents an exciting high-quality addition to the north Bristol office market.”
