Cycle paths are too expensive
The millions spent on cycle tracks on Bradley Stoke Way are for how many cyclists? The Council’s policy of walking and cycling is one sided – what about walkers?
I have complained about flooded, muddy footpaths for over five years, even two years ago taking a member of Street Care along the path to Willowbrook shopping centre. I also pointed out the pathway parallel with Orpheus Way had been covered with unsuitable oversized stones which were changed. But that path is now deep mud.
There is a simple solution in both cases to drain the rainwater away, and I would demonstrate a simple solution if required.
