The charity Sense has received a cheque for £200 as the result of the fundraising efforts from a Christmas concert by the Filtones Choir.
Dorothy Bryant says: “This was our first public concert for three years and was well attended by our audience who generously donated to this good cause. We have also made donations prior to this since we returned from Covid in September 2021, from family and friends only concerts, whose generosity enabled us to donate £200 for Ukraine in March 2022 and £150 in August 2022 to St Peter’s Hospice.
“The choir does pride itself on its fund raising efforts and the members are delighted to be able to return to these after so long a break.”
