Brabazon has raised more than £12,500 for Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal as part of this summer’s Gromit Unleashed 3 art trail.
Brabazon welcomed more than 35,000 visitors to the neighbourhood to see The Birds – a Gromit sculpture designed by Hannah Bone – and take part in a series of family-friendly events that brought the community together in support of Bristol Children’s Hospital.
The sculpture was ticked off 11,596 times on the official Gromit Unleashed app.
Jon McDiarmid at YTL Developments said: “Having The Birds as part of the Gromit Unleashed trail at Brabazon was a truly special moment for us. Gromit Unleashed is an iconic celebration of Bristol’s creativity and community spirit, and to be part of something so loved across the city was an honour.”
