Shortly before Christmas, Joie de Vivre – a burlesque chair dance group – put on a festive show at Stoke Gifford Retirement Village. This was well attended by both residents and the public.
Guests were also entertained by singer Francesca Carly who performed some Celine Dion and traditional Christmas songs. Meanwhile, a raffle was held and there were more than 50 prizes which the Joie de Vivre team had managed to collect.
Altogether, the evening raised in excess of £1,800 which will be split between the charities Breast Cancer Now and Suicide Prevention.
