Judo success Down Under

Three judokas from Bradley Stoke Judo Club received medals at the recent Mandurah Oceania Open 2026 championships in Australia.

Millie Bayliss struck gold in the -63kg division. Facing Australian opponents in both the semi-final and final, Millie delivered superb performances to secure her first senior international gold medal. This builds on her recent bronze at the Tunis African Open and continues her strong run of form.

Ben Moore took bronze in the -73kg category. This is his second consecutive bronze medal following his performance at the Dakar African Open, highlighting his growing consistency.

And Ashleigh Barnikel finished fifth in the -48kg division, adding to her solid season, which already includes a bronze medal from the Tunis African Open.

A great success for these three athletes from Bradley Stoke.
